Christopher Barker

Christopher Barker is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in political science. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at The American University in Cairo since July 2018, Christopher also holds a similar position at Southwestern College since September 2014. Previous roles include Fellow in US Legal and Constitutional History at Ohio University and Visiting Assistant Professor at Boston College. Christopher's academic journey began at Harvard University as a Jack Miller Fellow, followed by a Lectureship at California State University, San Bernardino. Christopher earned a PhD in Political Philosophy and American Government from Claremont Graduate University, completing the degree in 2010.
