Dr. Maha Hamed

Dr. Maha Hamed is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in linguistics and English language instruction. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Linguistics at Misr International University since February 2017, Dr. Hamed coordinates various linguistics courses and has been an English Language Instructor at The American University in Cairo since June 2003, focusing on curriculum development and teacher training. Previous roles include Executive Assistant to the Dean at Infut - Institute for Future Technology and English Department Coordinator at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. Dr. Hamed also has experience in cultural affairs through work at The American Embassy in Cairo and has held teaching positions at The German University in Cairo. Her educational background includes a PhD in Linguistics from Helwan University Cairo and multiple degrees related to linguistics and teaching English as a second language.
