Ezzeldin Soliman

Ezzeldin Soliman is a Full Professor and Chair of the Physics Department at The American University in Cairo, where tenure spans from August 2007 to the present. Prior experience includes positions as an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Cairo University from May 2000 to August 2007, and as an Associate Professor at King AbdulAziz University from August 2005 to June 2007. Ezzeldin also served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at McMaster University from August 2002 to August 2003 and was a PhD student at imec from June 1996 to February 2000. The educational background includes a PhD in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven, an MSc in Engineering Physics, a Diploma equivalent to a BSc in Physics, and a BSc in Electronics and Communications Engineering, all from Cairo University.
