Erin Maloney is an accomplished academic and researcher currently serving as an Associate Professor and Canada Research Chair (Tier II) in Academic Achievement and Well-Being at the University of Ottawa since July 2017. Prior to this role, Erin held the position of Senior Researcher at the Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario, where expertise was dedicated to evaluating the postsecondary education sector and providing policy recommendations for improvement. Erin's academic journey includes a Post-Doctoral Researcher position and a Lecturer role at the University of Chicago, as well as instructional responsibilities at the University of Waterloo, where advanced courses in Educational Neuroscience were taught. Erin holds both a B.A. and a Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Waterloo, contributing a solid educational foundation to ongoing research and teaching efforts.
