Reem El-Mograby

Reem El-Mograby has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Solution Developer Intern at LINKdotNET and then as a Web Developer Intern at Orange Business Services. In 2009, they became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the American University in Cairo, where they assisted with computer science courses and provided support to students.

In 2010, Reem joined ValleySoft as an Associate Software Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Senior Software Engineer & BPM Analyst. During this time, they collaborated with technical architects and project managers to develop BPM solutions for multiple banks in the UAE, utilizing Teamworks v6.2.1 and v8.0.

From 2011 to 2014, Reem participated in the TechWomen program as a mentee, where they had the opportunity to connect with professionals in the technology industry from different countries. In 2011, they also became a Techwomen mentee at the U.S. Department of State and ZaReason, Inc.

Reem returned to the American University in Cairo in 2014 as an Assistant Manager in the Career Systems department. Here, they utilized their expertise in career development to support students in their professional growth.

In 2017, Reem transitioned to the Office of the Dean of Students at the American University in Cairo and held this role until February 2019. Reem then moved to the Office of Student Conduct and Community Relations, where they worked until August 2020.

Since August 2020, Reem has been serving as the Director of the Office of General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at the American University in Cairo. In this role, they oversee the university's compliance initiatives and provides legal guidance.

Reem El-Mograby completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from The American University in Cairo in 2009. Reem then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The American University in Cairo, which they are expected to complete between 2020 and 2023. In terms of additional certifications, Reem obtained the Title IX Coordinator certification from the Association of Title IX Administrators (ATIXA) in February 2020. Reem also obtained the Foundations of Title IX investigations certification from Academic Impressions in an unspecified year, and the Title IX Coordinator Level II certification from ATIXA in August 2022. Moreover, Reem obtained the Investigation Report Writing certification from ATIXA and the IBM Certified Associate BPM Developer certification in unspecified years.
