Juan Vasquez

Juan Vasquez has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Juan started their career as an English and Spanish Tutor at Jiangxu Normal University from August 2014 to July 2015. Following this, they worked as an Interpreter and Translator at OHLA - Open Hearts Language Academy from June 2017 to October 2017.

From May 2015 to August 2019, Juan held multiple roles at The Edge Rock Climbing Centre. As the Manager, they played a key role in creating and managing a rebuilding plan for the business, improving infrastructure, increasing sales, and membership retention. Additionally, they created data visualizations for advertising and demographic studies and developed training programs and services to modernize the gym. As the Head Coach, Juan coached youth athletes and utilized their route setting experience to challenge and improve their climbing skills. Juan also maintained professional communication with the parents and families of team members.

From August 2019 to March 2022, Juan worked at ON THE EDGE ROCK CLIMBING GYM, INC. as a Manager | Data Analysis. Juan conducted data analyses using Rock Gym Pro, Excel, and R to provide recommendations for better business and marketing decisions. Juan also supported the CFO in analyzing business cases and performing risk analyses for investment decisions. Juan demonstrated excellent time and project management skills in overseeing and managing projects from planning to completion.

Currently, Juan is working at The AMES Companies, Inc. as an eCommerce Sales Analyst, starting from March 2022. In this role, they collaborate with various teams within the company to provide support for data analysis opportunities and solutions for ongoing projects. Juan utilizes Tableau and Power BI to create comprehensive management reports and dashboards, highlighting sales performance and customer opportunities. Furthermore, they collaborate with IT to establish and modify API connections on Snowflake and SQL server for Amazon and Home Depot.

Juan Vasquez has a diverse education history. From 2012 to 2014, they attended Miami Dade College and obtained an Associate's degree in International Relations and Affairs. In 2014 and 2015, they studied at Jiangsu Normal University, focusing on the study of the Chinese language and earning a General Education Degree. From 2016 to 2018, Juan attended Florida International University, where they pursued Bachelor's degrees in Economics and International Relations. During their time at Florida International University, they also obtained additional certifications in Asia and Latino America Globalization and Chinese Studies in July 2017.
