Michael Hager is an experienced project management professional specializing in electric transmission projects. Currently serving as Principal Project Manager at The Ampere Group since June 2023, Michael oversees large-scale transmission initiatives, managing all aspects from initiation to closeout, including budgeting, risk management, and project scope. Prior to this role, Michael held significant positions at EN Engineering, where responsibilities included managing large projects and leading a team of project managers, as well as offering consulting services to various stakeholders in the energy industry. Michael also served as Director of Transmission Asset Strategy at Northeast Utilities, focusing on strategic growth and capital planning, and as Vice President of Energy Supply at National Grid, overseeing generation-related activities. Michael holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hartford.
