Leilani Alvarez

Leilani Alvarez has been serving as the Director of the Tina Santi Flaherty Rehabilitation and Fitness at The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center since January 2012, specializing in integrative and rehabilitative medicine. Prior to this role, Leilani worked as a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist at Katonah Bedford Veterinary Center from January 2005 to January 2012 and as a Veterinarian at Downtown Veterinary Centers from 2003 to 2005. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia (1998-2002), a BS in Biology and German from Emory University (1992-1996), and certification as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation following a residency at the Animal Medical Center (July 2014 - January 2016).
