Michelle Friedman

Michelle has dedicated her career to creating marketing strategies for causes she believes in and is honored to lead the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center’s marketing team. A seasoned strategist and creative thinker, she is adept at aligning a brand’s identity with its public message to support an organization’s key goals and firmly believes that data can lead to key marketing insights. In her role at AMC, she manages the hospital’s brand, messaging, public relations, internal and external communications, as well as all print and digital properties. Prior to joining AMC, Michelle served as Account Director at MarinoPR, Communications Director for Hunger Free America, Communications Director for the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, and Press Officer for the New York State Senate Majority Press Office, among other roles.

She holds a BS in Communication Studies from Boston University and an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Adam.
