Palina S. has extensive experience in animal care and veterinary assistance, currently serving as a Patient Care Assistant in Emergency and Critical Care and as a Veterinary Assistant at The Schwarzman Animal Medical Center since May 2022. Prior roles include Research Assistant in Cell Biology at the State University of New York College at Oswego, where the focus was on talin proteins, along with various internships at Tara Animal Hospital, Rosamond Gifford Zoo, and WILD BIRD FUND, involving hands-on animal care and clinical pathology. Additionally, Palina S. held positions as a Discovery Guide Leader at the New York Aquarium and Bronx Zoo, promoting conservation efforts and educating the public. Having obtained a Bachelor of Science in Zoology with a minor in Chemistry at the State University of New York at Oswego, Palina S. is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Wildlife Conservation and Forensics at the University of Florida.
