Kevin Liu

Kevin Liu is an experienced software engineer currently serving as an Apache Iceberg Committer at The Apache Software Foundation since July 2024. Prior to this role, Kevin worked at Stripe from February 2021 to June 2024, focusing on data sharing and monetization within the Stripe Data Pipeline and delving into technologies such as Apache Iceberg, Trino, Spark, and Flink. Kevin's professional journey also includes a position at Amazon from August 2019 to February 2021, where tasks involved Automatic Speech Recognition for Alexa Shopping. Earlier experience encompasses software engineering internships at Datadog, Amazon, Catalant Technologies, and Goldman Sachs. Kevin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University and a high school diploma from the Bronx High School of Science.
