Mary Olivette Bookman is a dedicated apprentice at the Apollo Theater, where responsibilities include leading the production of "CHAMP," a career panel focused on Deaf artists of color, and assisting in the management of educational events. Additionally, Mary advises on theatre programs for college students with Signature Theatre Company and serves as the Program Liaison for the Black History Month Committee at Fordham University, organizing events that celebrate Black culture. Experience includes tutoring at Teach For America, working as a bookseller at Barnes & Noble College, and interning as a teaching assistant at The East Harlem School. Mary is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music at Fordham University, building a strong foundation in performing arts and education.
