Sara Bazoobandi

Sara Bazoobandi is a Research Fellow at GIGA German Institute of Global and Area Studies and an Associate Research Fellow at ISPI - Istituto per gli Studi di Politica Internazionale. Sara also holds positions as a Non-resident Fellow at The Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington and as the Managing Director at Middle East Risk Consulting. Sara has a background in international political economy, with previous roles including Senior Lecturer at Regent's University London and Analyst at Roubini Global Economics. Sara holds a PhD in Middle Eastern Political Economy from the University of Exeter and a Master of Science in Development Economics and International Development from the University of Reading.
