Tom McKenna

Tom McKenna currently serves as the Director of Grants and Publications at The Arc Eastern Connecticut, starting in March 2024. Previously, Tom had an extensive career at Taunton Press, Inc. from 1991 to 2023, where roles included Director of Learning Programs, Group Editorial Director, and Editorial Director for Fine Woodworking. Notable achievements during Tom's tenure at Taunton Press include launching a significant number of in-depth courses, generating substantial revenue and leading successful digital expansions and partnerships across various brands. Tom’s early career includes positions at THIS WEEK Newspapers and the American Physical Society. Tom earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts from Marist College from 1982 to 1986.
