Darona Perry is currently the Integrated Health Home Care Coordinator at The Arc of East Central Iowa. Previously Darona has been involved with various organizations including Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Alpha Beta Kappa National Honor Society, and as a head basketball coach at Family YMCA. In addition to their current role, Darona is also a business owner of Darona Perry Photography and Designs. Darona has a background in counseling and working with youth in various capacities. Darona holds a Bachelor's degree in Science in Human Services - Child and Family Welfare from Kaplan University.

MISSION: The Arc of East Central Iowa empowers individuals with disabilities and their families to engage in lifelong opportunities to live, learn, work, play, and advocate with full dignity and inclusion in their communities. VISION: The Arc of East Central Iowa is a proactive advocate committed to the empowerment, independence and dignity of all individuals with intellectual and related developmental disabilities and their families. PURPOSE: The Arc of East Central Iowa was created to promote the general welfare of all citizens who have intellectual and related developmental disabilities. With the mission state as a guide, The Arc works with the state and national offices to provide a unified approach to provide supports and services, raise awareness, promote prevention and to affect public policy in a way that reflects the need of people with disabilities.
