VISION: The Arc of East Central Iowa is a proactive advocate committed to the empowerment, independence and dignity of all individuals with intellectual and related developmental disabilities and their families. PURPOSE: The Arc of East Central Iowa was created to promote the general welfare of all citizens who have intellectual and related developmental disabilities. With the mission state as a guide, The Arc works with the state and national offices to provide a unified approach to provide supports and services, raise awareness, promote prevention and to affect public policy in a way that reflects the need of people with disabilities.
