Kat Chappell is an experienced communications and advocacy professional with a strong background in program management and outreach. Currently serving as Communications Manager and previously as Advocacy Manager at The Arc of Indiana since January 2022, Kat has also held roles as Program Manager and Outreach and Operations Manager at the Indiana Governor's Council for People with Disabilities from May 2018 to December 2021. With earlier experience as a facilitator at Outside the Box, Inc., substitute teacher at Tindley Accelerated Schools, and internships at Eiteljorg Museum, Kat has demonstrated a commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities and in educational settings. Kat's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology from Indiana University.

We are home to The Arc Master Trust, Indiana’s leading special needs trust, serving Hoosiers of all disabilities since 1988, and affiliated with The Arc of the United States. The Arc of Indiana Foundation works to create employment opportunities for people with disabilities, including opportunities through Erskine Green Training Institute.
