Laura Austin

Laura Austin is currently the Chair at The Arc Central Chesapeake Region. Laura has been working in the field of mental health and rehabilitation for over 10 years. Laura started their career as a Sales Consultant at Lands' End before moving on to work as a Rehabilitation Coordinator and Mental Health Technician at CENTERS FOR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, LLC. Laura then became a Case Manager at Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless and most recently a Therapist at Advanced Behavioral Health Inc.

Laura Austin has a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Laura also has an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Montgomery College and a Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute in First Aid/CPR and AED for Adult/Child/Infant.
