Sam Tawiah

Sam Tawiah has extensive experience in technology leadership, currently serving as the Vice President of Technology at The Arc Central Chesapeake Region since February 2025. Previously, Sam held prominent roles at the National Aquarium, including VP/Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Information Technology from October 2014 to February 2025. Earlier career positions include Project Manager at CMSI, Director of IT Operations at Kropp Holdings Inc., and Director of Development & Infrastructure at AVCARD, where responsibilities encompassed IT operations, project management, and strategic planning. Sam began a career in software development at CMSI and HTE Inc. Sam Tawiah holds a BSc in Computer Science with Applicable Mathematics from the University of Buckingham.
