Arc of Westchester
Samantha Long is a dedicated Senior Guardianship Advocate at The Arc of Westchester, where responsibilities include advocating for aging adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and serving as a legal guardian appointed by the court. Prior experience includes an internship at the NYS Office of Mental Health, facilitating treatment groups and individual sessions for clients with mental illness. Previous roles also include a Social Work Intern at Clarkstown Central School District, providing counseling and facilitating anti-bullying programs for children, as well as various positions focused on community habilitation and education for individuals with disabilities. Samantha holds a Master of Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor of Social Work from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
