Paul Deeds is currently the VP of Business Intelligence at The Arena Group. Paul has previous experience as a software engineer, working with various technologies such as C#, .NET, IIS, SQL Server, and more. Paul was first hired as a software engineer at Mongomusic, where they helped build an early prototype and contributed to a patented music similarity engine. Paul was promoted three times in a year and a half before the company was acquired by Microsoft. At Microsoft, they worked on MongoMusic, which later became MSN Music and MSN Entertainment. Paul also worked on fuzzy merging of entertainment data feeds, search and similarity algorithms, and the front end site. Paul has contributed to four patents in total.
Paul Deeds received a BS in Computer Science and Economics from Tufts University.
