Brett Smith Esq.

Brett Smith, Esq. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Brett currently serves as the Human Resources Director at The Armor Group, Inc. starting in October 2021. Prior to their current role, Brett worked as an HR Manager at Smithfield Foods from August 2016 to October 2021. Brett also held various positions at Kroger, including Manager from July 2014 to August 2016, and Associate and Labor Relations ASP from February 2009 to July 2014. Brett gained legal experience as a Legal Intern at the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic in August 2012, and as a Summer Law Clerk at the U.S. Department of Labor in the summer of 2012. Brett also worked as a Summer Law Clerk at the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas in 2011. Prior to their legal career, Brett worked at Health Alliance as a Labor Relations Specialist from September 2007 to September 2008, and as a Human Resource Assistant from January 2006 to September 2007.

Brett Smith, Esq. received their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A) in Human Resources from Xavier University in the years 2001 to 2005. Brett then pursued a law degree and attended the University of Dayton School of Law from 2010 to 2011. However, they transferred to the University of Cincinnati College of Law and completed their Juris Doctor (J.D.) there from 2011 to 2013.
