Nik Karnik

Nik Karnik has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Nik currently holds the position of Vice President, Global Security Products Division at Leidos since May 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President, Ports and Borders Division at Leidos from April 2022 to June 2023. Before joining Leidos, Nik was the Chief Product Officer at TAG (The Armored Group) in 2020.

From 2017 to 2020, Nik worked at Smiths Detection, where they held the role of Global Market Director - Defense and Urban Security from January 2019 to August 2020. Nik also served as the Director of Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions from December 2017 to April 2019.

Before their time at Smiths Detection, Nik held positions at Morpho Detection, LLC and Morpho Detection, Inc. At Morpho Detection, LLC, they served as the Senior Director of Product Management and Strategy from February 2016 to December 2017. During their tenure, they were responsible for product and company strategy, technical publications, partnerships, and media relations. At Morpho Detection, Inc., they held the role of Director, Explosive Detection Systems Platform from July 2012 to December 2015 and Product Manager from July 2008 to August 2012.

Prior to their roles at Morpho Detection, Nik worked as a Product Manager at GE Homeland Protection from June 2008 to May 2010. Nik also served as a Senior Commercial Finance Manager at GE Homeland Protection from 2005 to 2007.

Nik's earlier professional experiences include working as a Blackbelt, Strategic Marketing Manager at Tyco Plastics from December 2004 to October 2005, and as a Deal Manager at GE / Global Exchange Services and GXS from 2000 to 2004.
