Tom McGuire

Colonel Tom McGuire retired from the US Army after 27 years of distinguished service. He previously served as Executive Director, USAA, where he managed a unit responsible for coordinating and integrating the Chief Financial Officer’s (Corporate Finance, Financial Service Center and Internal Audit) Strategic and Operational Plans, Budget, and Forecast. Most recently, he retired after more than 18 years with the Kronkosky Charitable Foundation located in San Antonio. He served as the Grants Manager, where he worked with more than 200 local nonprofits. From July 2018 to June 2020, Tom served as the Army Residence Community Board Treasurer. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Cameron University, a Master of Education in Human Services from Boston University, and a Master of Arts, National Security, and Strategy, Naval War College.
