Shishir Kushwaha

Shishir Kushwaha is an experienced education professional with a diverse background in training coordination, learning design, and English language instruction. Currently serving as the Higher Education Program Coordinator at The Arnhem Land Progress Aboriginal Corporation (ALPA), Shishir assists Yolngu in enrolling in and completing Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses. Previous roles include Training Coordinator at the National Computational Infrastructure, Learning Designer at Flinders University, and Foundation Skills Trainer at Charles Darwin University, where Shishir focused on Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital skills training for Indigenous Australians. With earlier experience as a Teacher of English at the British Council and Senior Teacher at EF English First, Shishir has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing educational outcomes through innovative curriculum development and teacher mentorship. Shishir holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering and a Graduate Diploma in Management from Swinburne University of Technology.
