The Art Therapy Project is a nonprofit mental health organization providing free group art therapy to adults and youth affected by trauma. Using the art-making process and with support from our art therapists, clients learn how to explore feelings, increase self-awareness and cope with life's challenges.

The Communications and Art Therapy team at The Art Therapy Project plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between therapeutic services and the community. The Senior Communications Strategists work to raise awareness, promote programs, and engage with stakeholders through various media channels. Meanwhile, the Art Therapists and Creative Arts Therapist, supported by the Art Therapy Intern, facilitate therapeutic art sessions, helping clients heal and express themselves through art. Together, they ensure the organization's mission is effectively communicated and executed.

The Development and Marketing team at The Art Therapy Project is responsible for securing funding, managing donor relations, and creating marketing strategies to raise awareness and promote the organization's mission. This team works to build partnerships, plan fundraising events, and develop communication campaigns to engage the community and attract support for their free group art therapy programs.

The Leadership Team at The Art Therapy Project oversees strategic planning, governance, and overall mission alignment. Comprising the President, Founder of Herb-n-Peach Catering, and the Founder and Chair Emeritus, this team ensures the organization's growth, sustainability, and adherence to its mission of providing free group art therapy to individuals affected by trauma.
