The Art Therapy Project
Ian B. Kwok serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine, where responsibilities include directing Community Outreach & Education and the Palliative Care House Call Program. In addition, Ian B. Kwok contributes as an Advisory Council Member at The Art Therapy Project. Previous experience includes a research role at the Center to Advance Palliative Care and project management at Rip Road, Inc., focusing on mobile health programs. Earlier, Ian B. Kwok coordinated medical education projects at AdelphiEden Health Communications and conducted research at Columbia University and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Ian B. Kwok holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University.
The Art Therapy Project
The Art Therapy Project is a nonprofit mental health organization providing free group art therapy to adults and youth affected by trauma. Using the art-making process and with support from our art therapists, clients learn how to explore feelings, increase self-awareness and cope with life's challenges.
