General Partner at The Artemis Fund

Leslie Goldman is a general partner at The Artemis Fund, a venture capital firm that invests in health and life science companies. Prior to joining The Artemis Fund, Goldman was a managing director at Major, Lindsey & Africa, where they specialized in executive and senior level in-house searches. Goldman also worked with the Board & Corporate Governance practice of MLA’s sister company, Allegis Partners, to assist with identifying and placing top talent for boards, the C-suite, CHROs and other senior executive and human resource leadership roles across multiple industries.

Goldman began their career as an attorney, serving as vice president and general counsel for Fisher HealthCare and Fisher Chemicals at Thermo Fisher Scientific. During their nine years at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Goldman was responsible for all legal matters relating to the two businesses, including mergers and acquisitions, litigation, compliance, and regulatory matters.

Goldman is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School.

Leslie Goldman has a B.A. from Yale University in English and Music, a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, and an M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from UNSW. Leslie also has a degree from Rye Country Day School.
