Peter Cook has over three decades of diverse experience in leadership roles across various sectors. Currently serving as the Managing Director of The Ashokan Center since November 2015, Peter oversees New York State's oldest outdoor environmental education organization, located in the Catskill Mountains. Prior experience includes the Deputy Director role at Family of Woodstock, Inc., where responsibilities involved supporting at-risk adolescents and crisis management. Peter also worked as an Adolescent Services Case Manager, providing essential resources and facilitating life skills development. Earlier in the career, Peter taught American and World History at Boston Public Schools and held IT management positions at Morrison Mahoney LLP. Peter holds a Master's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from UMass Boston and a Bachelor's degree in History from Hartwick College.
