Mohamed Ziyad

Mohamed Ziyad is an accomplished program manager with extensive experience in governance, civil society advocacy, and political sector initiatives in Sri Lanka. Currently serving as a Program Manager at The Asia Foundation, Mohamed contributes to the Bolstering Civil Society (BCS) program funded by the U.S. Previously, at Transparency International Sri Lanka, Mohamed led political sector programs, ensuring accountability and transparency in governance. Additional roles include Programme Lead at the Centre for Development Research and Interventions and Project Manager positions at Save the Children International and Berendina, demonstrating a strong track record in project design and implementation. Mohamed's career is supported by a comprehensive educational background with a Master's in Human Rights and ongoing PhD studies in International Relations focusing on peacebuilding and development initiatives.
