Alexander Paul

Alexander Paul has extensive experience in investment banking and corporate development, currently serving as Group Head of M&A and holding several senior roles at HSBC since April 2007, including Global Co-head of TMT and FIG Investment Banking. In addition to these responsibilities, Alexander Paul is a Fellow in the Finance Leaders Fellowship at The Aspen Institute as of June 2023. Previous roles include Board Member and Chair of the Audit Sub-Committee at Aquinas Church of England Education Trust from August 2015 to July 2019, and a legal position at Clifford Chance from August 2003 to April 2007. Alexander Paul holds an Advanced Management Programme degree from Harvard Business School, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The University of Manchester, an MSc in Finance (Economic Policy) from SOAS University of London, and has completed the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice.
