Heather Tussing has extensive work experience in the senior living and healthcare industry. Heather is currently the President of The Aspenwood Company and serves as a TALA Board Member at the Texas Assisted Living Association. In the past, they have been a Brand Ambassador for Bridge The Gap The Senior Living Podcast and held various executive positions at Morning Pointe Senior Living and Spring Hills Senior Communities and Home Care Services.

Their roles at Morning Pointe Senior Living included Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Operations & Vice President of Sales. At Spring Hills Senior Communities and Home Care Services, they held positions such as Vice President of Assisted Living Operations, Director of Compliance & Quality Improvement, and Regional Executive Director.

Before their senior living industry experience, Heather was the Executive Director at Carriage Court of Kenwood / Good Neighbor Care and Carriage Court of Grove City / Good Neighbor Care. Heather also owned and managed a high-volume business called Designer.Deals.4.Home.

Heather's earlier career included roles as Admissions & Marketing Director at Auburn Manor Rehabilitation Center and a Public Relations & Business Communications Instructor at Southern State Community College.

Throughout their career, Heather has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in the senior living industry.

Heather Tussing holds a BA in Communications with a minor in Public Relations from the University of Kentucky. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including the Virginia Assisted Living Preceptor, Virtual Dementia Tour Facilitator, Virginia Assisted Living Facility Administrator License, Texas Assisted Living Administrator - TALA, Certified Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainer - CAADCT, Certified Dementia Practitioner - CDP, and Certified Assisted Living Administrator - CALA.
