Bobby Jenkins

Bobby graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA in business management. He is the owner and president of ABC Home & Commercial Services with offices in Austin, San Antonio, College Station, Corpus Christi and Bell County. ABC employs over 850 people and offers a wide variety of services including pest and termite control, lawn care and mowing, landscaping and irrigation, tree trimming, air conditioning and heating, plumbing and electrical, pool cleaning and repair, handyman services, appliance repair, window cleaning and power washing. In 2011, former Gov. Rick Perry ’72 appointed Bobby to a six-year term on the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Perry appointed him Vice Chair in 2013, followed by an appointment as Chairman in 2015 by Gov. Greg Abbott. In August of 2019, Gov. Abbott appointed Bobby as Chairman of the Central Texas Mobility Authority. A selfless servant, Bobby serves on the boards of the United Way, College for All Texans Foundation, BBB Education Foundation, Citizens Against Lawsuit Abuse, Alzheimer’s Association and is on the executive committee of the Texas Business Leadership Council. He currently serves on the national board of the Sudden Unexplained Death in Children Foundation as well as the board of the Moss Pieratt Foundation. He is the co-founder and board chairman of Recognize Good, as well as Chair of the Friends of the Kite Festival Foundation. Bobby is a past president of both the Texas and National Pest Management Associations and is the current chair of the Professional Pest Management Alliance. He is a past chair and board member of the Austin Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau, American Heart Association, Austin Gives, Caritas of Austin and Alzheimer’s Texas Association. He served as a tri-chair for Austin Independent School District’s bond oversight committee. Bobby is a past co-chair for the United Way Annual Campaign and Heart Walk for the American Heart Association. His service to Texas A&M University includes membership on the College of Agriculture Development Council and the Mays Business School Development Council. A member of The Association of Former Students’ Century Club, he served as a Representative at Large prior to his election to The Association’s Board of Directors.
