Mark Henderson, OLY has a long and diverse work experience. In 2021, they became a Member Board of Trustees for the Women's Sports Foundation. From 1996 to 2008, they were a part of the United States Olympic Committee, first as a 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist, then as Chair of the Athletes Advisory Council, and finally as an Athlete Advisory Council - Athlete Representative. In 2015, they became the Executive Director and Co-Founder of The Athletes Village. In 2020, they began working as Interim Chief Operations Officer for Morphic. From 2009 to 2012, they were the Managing Director of U.S. Equities for Janney Montgomery Scott, a San Francisco Board Member and Participant for Swim Across America, Inc., a Director of Japanese Equities for Citigroup, a Board of Directors for USA Swimming, and a Director of Japanese Equities for J.P. Morgan. Finally, from 1997 to 1999, they were a Men's Assistant Swim Coach for Columbia University.

Mark Henderson, OLY attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1987 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Pre-Med Requirements.
