Michael Roman

Michael Roman is an experienced professional specializing in applied artificial intelligence and data science. Currently serving as the Director of Applied AI at The Atlantic since June 2018, Michael has led the creation and implementation of machine learning models focused on natural language processing and audience engagement metrics. Previously, as an Instructional Associate for General Assembly, Michael delivered training in data science, achieving top ratings from students. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Pricing and Data at White Pine Wholesale LLC, where Michael performed market analysis and executed global auctions for diamond inventory, contributing to significant revenue growth.
