Marjorie Hoffman has extensive experience in educational leadership, having served as the Founding Head of School at The Auburn School's Baltimore campus since July 2013. Previously, Marjorie held the position of Director of Admissions and Director of Development and Marketing at The Shoshana S. Cardin School from July 2006 to June 2010. Marjorie also worked as Middle School Head at Garrison Forest School from July 1998 to July 2006, and as Head of School at Valley Academy from July 1995 to June 1998. The career began as a Founding Teacher and Middle School Head at Krieger Schechter Day School from June 1981 to July 1995. Marjorie holds a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Maryland, an M.Ed. in Education from The Johns Hopkins University, and an Advanced Certificate in Administration and Supervision from Towson University.

The Auburn School

The Auburn School offers a dynamic educational program for intellectually curious students with challenges in the areas of communication, socialization, pragmatic language, and organization. Our program is appropriate for students who can learn successfully and appropriately in a small classroom setting. Auburn’s program simultaneously supports the development of academic skills, social competency and pragmatic language in an engaging educational environment.
