Nthabeleng Makakole

Nthabeleng Makakole is a highly experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist, currently serving at The Aurum Institute since September 2017, with expertise in clinical research, particularly in TB culture processing and quality control implementation. Prior to this role, Nthabeleng worked at Ampath Trust from November 2010 to August 2017, focusing on sample processing, PCR analysis, and staff training. Nthabeleng's career began at NHLS, where responsibilities included supervising the TB lab and performing critical analysis and reporting tasks. Nthabeleng holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health (with distinction) from the University of Pretoria, a Bachelor of Technology in Biomedical Technology from the University of Johannesburg, and a National Diploma in Biomedical Technology.
