Scott Hekman P.e.

Scott Hekman, P.E. currently serves as Executive Pastor of the Downtown Congregation and Leadership Development Director at The Austin Stone Community Church since July 2013, primarily focusing on Missional Communities. Prior to this role, Scott worked as an Environmental Engineer IV at Freese and Nichols from June 2009 to July 2013, managing various water-related projects and serving as both Project Manager and Project Engineer. An academic background includes a Master of Science in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Calvin University. Additional experience encompasses research roles at the University of Texas at Austin and Calvin College, as well as an engineering internship at Blackmer and an audio production internship at CBH Ministries.
