Elizabeth Kennedy

Elizabeth Kennedy has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Elizabeth is currently a Council Member at Janet Clarke Hall, The University of Melbourne, starting in April 2021. Elizabeth is also a Non-Executive Director for the Australian Psychological Society (APS) since November 2020. Furthermore, they serve as a Director on the Board of Directors at Western Health since July 2020. In 2019, they worked as a Legal Member for the Victorian Pharmacy Authority. Elizabeth Kennedy has held multiple roles at Eastern Melbourne PHN, starting in 2015, including Director on the Board of Directors and Non-Executive Director, with an end date of November 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre from 2014 to May 2021. Elizabeth has also contributed to the Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill 2017 at The Royal Melbourne Hospital & NorthWestern Mental Health. Before that, they worked as the Corporate Counsel at Epworth Hospital from 2009 to 2014, Corporate Counsel at The Royal Women's Hospital from 2002 to 2009, and Corporate Counsel at Women's and Children's Health from 2002 to 2004.

Elizabeth Kennedy attended University of Melbourne from 1971 to 1975, where they obtained a B.A, LL.B (Hons), LL.M, and Grad Dip Health&Med law in the field of law and arts. Prior to their university education, they completed their secondary schooling at Ivanhoe Girls' Grammar School from 1965 to 1970. Elizabeth Kennedy also obtained a GAICD certification from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
