Jo Montgomery

Jo Montgomery is an experienced education and science specialist with extensive roles in supporting teachers and schools through various initiatives. Currently serving as a Great Science Share for Schools Adviser at The University of Manchester, Jo also leads professional development efforts as a PSQM hub leader and SLP Accredited Lead Facilitator for STEM Learning UK. With a strong background in curriculum development and hands-on teaching, Jo has designed and delivered science lessons and workshops through Dr Jo Science Solutions and has contributed to science education as a Biological Training Developer at The Babraham Institute. Previous roles include teaching positions and educational liaison work at organizations like Mundipharma and Napp Pharmaceuticals. Jo holds a PhD in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from the University of Cambridge and has actively participated in educational governance, notably at Bar Hill Primary School.
