Sam Thompson is a Flow Cytometry Specialist at The Babraham Institute since August 2021. Previously, Sam worked as an Advanced Research Assistant at the Wellcome Sanger Institute from November 2016 to July 2021, contributing to the Flow Cytometry Core Facility, which includes advanced sorters and analysers. Sam started a career in the Sanger Institute shortly after graduating from the University of Chester, where Sam earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from 2013 to 2016.
