Penny R. Marzalik

Penny R. Marzalik is a highly experienced professional in nursing and midwifery, currently serving as a PhD, APRN-CNM, IBCLC, C-EFM, and FACNM at The Baby Academy since March 2021. In addition, Penny holds the position of Associate Professor and Director of the Nurse-Midwifery Program at Shenandoah University from August 2021 to August 2025. Previous roles include Nurse Midwife at The Ohio State University College of Nursing from August 2019 to September 2020, Director of Nurse-Midwifery and Women's Health Specialty Programs at The Ohio State University from May 2016 to April 2020, and Doctor of Nursing Practice Program Director at Mount Carmel Health System from August 2010 to May 2016. Earlier in the career, Penny served as Assistant Professor and Director of the Women's Health Nurse Practitioner Program at Loyola University Chicago from 2004 to 2010. Educational qualifications include a BSN from The Ohio State University and both an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago.
