Michael Armogan

Michael Armogan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Michael has worked at The Bahamas Telecommunications Company (BTC Business) in multiple senior associate positions, including Business Analytics & Special Projects and Retail Operations. Michael also served as a contracted worker, focusing on social media and customer service. Concurrently, Armogan founded and served as the president of The Bahamas Esports Federation. Additionally, they worked as a talk show host and tournament organizer/community manager at MOAR; Cookies, where they hosted web shows and podcasts covering gaming, esports, and technology. Armogan is an active member of the Caribbean Esports Federations Alliance (CEFA) and Fighting Game Community Codes of Conduct committees. Prior to their involvement in the esports industry, they worked as an editor, coder, and enumerator at The Department of Statistics, where they edited and coded census forms. Armogan also founded, hosted, and administered Snap, a user-run podcast for the Gaia online community, and worked as an IT consultant at PC Consultants and an election assistant for the Bahamas Government. Michael also co-hosted and administered PTAG, another podcast catering to the Gaia community.

Michael Armogan began their education at Galilee College in 2008, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Accounting and Finance, General. During the same period, they also earned a Diploma in Banking and Business Administration from Galilee. Additionally, in October 2008, they received a certification in Bookkeeping.

In terms of further certifications, Michael Armogan has obtained several relevant qualifications. In April 2022, they completed "The Non-Technical Skills of Effective Data Scientists" course. Furthermore, during November 2022 and March 2023, they pursued various data analytics courses, including "Data Fluency: Exploring and Describing Data" and "Learning Data Analytics: 1 Foundations". In April 2023, they completed certifications such as "Become a Data Analyst", "Data Cleaning in Python Essential Training", "Data Fluency: Exploring and Describing Data (2019)", "Excel Statistics Essential Training: 1", "Learning Data Visualization", "Power BI Essential Training", "R Essential Training: Wrangling and Visualizing Data", "SQL: Data Reporting and Analysis", and "Tableau Essential Training".
