Monique Jones

Monique Jones currently serves as the Head of Newsroom Strategy and Partnerships at The Baltimore Banner since October 2022. With extensive experience in journalism, Monique held various editorial roles at notable organizations including Managing Editor and Deputy Editor at The Undefeated (ESPN) from November 2018 to October 2022, and Deputy Editor positions at ESPN from May 2015 to November 2018, focusing on MLB and NFL coverage. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Editor for NFL at USA TODAY, NFL Editor/Sports Content Editor at The Baltimore Sun, and Sports Reporter at The Boston Globe, The Dallas Morning News, and Pensacola News Journal. Monique is also a long-standing member of NABJ since 2001. Monique earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Florida.
