Carrie Burkhouse Smith

Carrie Burkhouse Smith is an experienced educator and compliance analyst. Currently serving as a 5th Grade Teacher at Mueller Elementary School since June 2017, Carrie specializes in English Language Arts and Social Studies. In addition to teaching, Carrie has been a Compliance Analyst at The Baltimore Life Insurance Company since May 2016, after holding the position of Legal Counsel at the same company from July 2007 to May 2012. Carrie Burkhouse Smith earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law between 2003 and 2006 and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and American Studies from the University of Maryland, obtained from 1996 to 2000.
