Angie Sweatman

Angie Sweatman is an experienced finance professional with a focus on business development and SBA lending. Currently serving as Vice President and Business Development Officer at The Bancorp since December 2023, Sweatman assists business owners in acquiring or constructing commercial real estate, accessing working capital, and refinancing debt. Previously, Sweatman held the position of SBA 504 Loan Specialist and Business Development Officer at Florida First Capital Finance Corporation from March 2017 to January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President at Alabama Small Business Capital, where expertise was centered on the SBA 504 Loan Program, and as Business Development Officer at Southern Development Council, Inc. Angie Sweatman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Samford University between 1984 and 1988.
