Carlin Friar

Carlin Friar serves as the President of The Bank & Trust in Boerne since July 2022, following a role as the Fredericksburg President for Happy State Bank from November 2020 to July 2022, a period during which the acquisition of Centennial Bank was completed. Previous experience includes serving as Manager of Friar Trio, LLC, focusing on business consulting and management coaching from January 2016 to July 2022, and as Senior Vice President and Fredericksburg Market President at Centennial Bank from April 2018 to November 2020. Prior roles also include serving as President and Chief Executive Officer at Sonora Bank and holding multiple executive positions at The Trust Company. Carlin Friar holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from The University of Texas at San Antonio and has completed leadership programs in Boerne and Gillespie County.
