Archana Padmakar

Archana Padmakar is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as the Lead of the Mental Health Resource Hub and faculty in the Department of Applied Psychology at The Banyan Academy of Leadership in Mental Health since March 2014. Additionally, Archana is a peer reviewer for both the IAPS Journal of Practice in Mental Health and PLOS ONE, positions held since April 2022. With a strong background in clinical psychology, Archana has held various roles at The Banyan, including Deputy Director and Assistant Director of the Emergency Care and Recovery Centre. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Consultant Clinical Psychologist at MEDWAY Multispeciality Hospital and a Consultant Clinical Psychologist at ANTENNE D'ECOUTE. Archana's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Positive Psychology and Mental Health from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and an M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from Kasturba Medical College, among other degrees.
