India Burnett is a Senior Lawyer at the Department for Business and Trade since September 2020 and has extensive experience as a Barrister at the Government Legal Department, where involvement spans from September 2014 in various groups, including the DIT Legal and HM Treasury. Additionally, India Burnett has been a member of the Bar Council of England and Wales' Education and Training Committee since 2016. Academic qualifications include a Master of Studies in International Relations from the University of Cambridge (2021-2023), a Master of Laws from City St George’s, University of London, completion of the Bar Professional Training Course at the same institution, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Exeter.
