Theo Huckle KC is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within the legal sector. As a Bencher at The Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn since 2012 and a barrister at the General Council of the Bar of England and Wales since 1985, Theo Huckle has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to the legal profession. Additionally, Huckle serves as a Visiting Professor of Law at King's College London, Chair of the Board of Directors for Welsh Rowing, Council Member for JUSTICE, and Board Member and Trustee for Advocate (Bar Pro Bono). The Bar Council is also the Approved Regulator of the Bar of England and Wales, although we discharge our regulatory functions through the independent Bar Standards Board. Our executive works in partnership with the many members of the Bar who give up their time to serve on the elected Bar Council and on committees covering issues as wide-ranging as social mobility, remuneration, international work and law reform. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics, equality and diversity across the profession, as well as ensuring that the Bar can attract and retain the brightest and the best, irrespective of background.
